Note: the Fedora Change for Atomic Host was approved:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/AtomicHost
In order to try to make the Fedora 22 Change checkpoint, I've uploaded the current state of F22 Atomic Host:
https://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/fedora-atomic/images/f22/20150224.0/
Known issues:
docker doesn't start: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1195804
docker-storage-setup doesn't start: https://github.com/projectatomic/docker-storage-setup/issues/5
That said, once you have the system running, you should be able to pull tree updates
via "atomic upgrade".
I case you're wondering "Why isn't this automated and continuous and constantly working",
well, significant amount of time goes into the continual new regressions in Fedora, e.g.:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1195761
https://github.com/rhinstaller/anaconda/pull/6
etc. And without the ability to back out brokenness, things take quite a while to stabilize.
But, we have quite a lot going on. Not uploaded but should land quite soon
are official Vagrant boxes. I merged today a kickstart for them:
https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/spin-kickstarts.git/commit/?id=85e047bbe7628b0fa1e6223f08d339f2da53c5bf
There's also been some work on the PXE-to-Live, using livemedia-creator. I
just have to debug why dracut-network isn't being found, then that should be usable.
