Hmm, I suppose because I *knew* what to look for, I only needed 2
seconds (heck, even 1 sec is enough if you just keep mashing the
Down arrow key :) ).

Not sure how to address this. I feel like making it any longer
would probably be unacceptable, even if it gets reverted on the
next grub.cfg regen. Maybe it would be sufficient to have good
documentation so that users are ready for it if they want to try
out Developer Mode?
