Re: [atomic-devel] fedora 28 atomic workstation

Great that you like it!

You can install Flatpaks via Gnome Software if you add the repo:

https://flatpak.org/setup/Fedora/

Additionally, you can package layer them, which you're probably familiar with from Atomic Host.

This should all be ironed out in the coming weeks and months, but if you need anything or something from the above needs more clarification, let me know or, ideally, post a thread in the Silverblue category on discussion.fedoraproject.org so others see it as well.

We will also improve the docs in several iterations. Feel free to add PRs to the docs as well, of course.

Cheers!

We'll have to change that, I'll put that as a to do.

I do think it is a good idea to let the user know it is fedora-atomic.

A really huge thank-you for this new wonderful Fedora flavor. Atomic server is really hot, so long life to Atomic workstation, or Silverblue.

I take opportunity to say Gnome software window opens but don't show any package. I can see the various groups (game, video...) but no app at all are shown :-(

Looks right to me. I don't know if anyone ever updated /etc/os-release for FAW
to say anything different than just the plain Fedora Workstation edition.
