[atomic-devel] waiting for crng at boot time

Hi folks,

setup:

	CentOS-Atomic-Host-7.1811-GenericCloud.qcow2,
	running in kvm

Host is Debian 9, kernel 4.9.88-1+deb9u1~bpo8+1

	CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5620 @ 2.40GHz.
kvm is set to "copy host cpu configuration". 4 cores.

Problem: At boot time AH sits there and does nothing for
several minutes, apparently waiting for crng. If I am lucky,
then it wakes up after a few pings.

Using virtmanager I have added the rng device and rebooted.
The guest has loaded the virtio_rng kernel module, as expected,
but no improvement. :-(

My Debian 9 guests start fine without delay on the same host.

AFAICS there is no crng.service. Is there some way to kick out
crng? What would be your recommendation?

Any helpful comment is highly appreciated.

Regards
Harri
