Good News/Bad News

Good: There is a new kubernetes update out that will fix #1414096:

Good: We've identified the kernel issue and have committed a fix:

Bad: I've been informed there will be no new kernel build this week
     so we will miss this weeks release. We will hopefully get all
     of these bugs resolved and make a release next week.
