Hi,
First, Fedora Infrastructure has provided some scratch space in the
"alt" mirror. Among other things, this has SSL, which fixes a major gap
in update security.
You should be able to switch running systems to:
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/fedora-atomic/repo
Edit /etc/ostree/remotes.d/fedora-atomic.repo and replace the url= value
with that.
People have also complained to me about the download speed - this should
be better, though it's not (to my knowledge) globally mirrored.
Second, I've uploaded a new installer ISO:
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/fedora-atomic/testing/rawhide/installer/201407/
There are two known major bugs with this:
- It will crash if you boot with < 1GiB of RAM, because of a kernel bug
with the new zRAM that landed in Anaconda[1]. You can work around this
with (strictly) greater than 1GiB of RAM, or by adding "inst.zram=0" to
the kernel command line.
- cloud-init is enabled by default; this will be fixed when
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=850058 is applied
